Lighthouse Bonsai Society

Meetings are held every fourth Saturday of the month at 9:30 a.m. at the Boca Raton Community Center (150 N.W. Crawford Blvd., Boca Raton, Florida, 33432).

From I-95, exit Palmetto Park Rd., go east approx. 1 mile and make left on Crawford Blvd, then right into Community Center.

We make every meeting fun and educational for everybody -- novice and experienced bonsai hobbyists. Our programs include:

• Demonstrations of different bonsai techniques and procedures by local and visiting bonsai masters, and our own club members
• Bonsai Critiques, and Bonsai Clinics
• Workshops with bonsai masters
• Hands on workshops - most popular program in club when we bring our trees, ask for advice or critique from other members.

Program: Holiday Brunch and "Trash to Treasure" Program: Members should bring a bonsai or pre-bonsai tree either wrapped, boxed or bagged. The tree should already be worked on, not just a cutting. Someone’s trash is another one’s treasure, but it should be something someone might want to actually take home.
